President of SEAPAC, Speaker Marzuki Alie hosted a Luncheon with Ambassadors of Southeast Asian countries today, on 12^nd September 2013 at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta. The luncheon was also attended by chair of Indonesian National Chapter of GOPAC, Vice Speaker of the Indonesian House, DR. Pramono Anung Wibowo, and other members of the host steering committee. On that occasion, the Vice Speaker of the Indonesian House, DR. Pramono Anung Wibowo disclosed the agenda of the General Assembly of SEAPAC and called for Ambassadors to encourage their parliaments for sending the delegation to the General Assembly of SEAPAC. He added that the assembly will come up with Medan Declaration which will reflects the commitment of parliamentarians in pulling all efforts to ensure transparency, good governance and scrutiny. At the other side, the Ambassadors attended the event agreed that the assembly will promote awareness of parliamentarians on the possible common efforts they can in the region to curb corruption, and promised to communicate and encourage their parliaments to attend the General Assembly of SEAPAC on 23 - 24 October 2013 at Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia.
