Timor Leste GOPAC National Chapter is currently reactivating its mission in fighting against corruption campaign, not only in national level but also in regional level by participating in SEAPAC as well as in international level by participating in GOPAC. Indonesian as Chair of SEAPAC welcomes Timor Leste’s initiative as emphasized by the representative of Timor Leste for SEAPAC, Hon. Mr. Franciso Branco and Hon Dra Maria Lurdes Martins Bessa, to contribute on the efforts to reduce corruption related crimes in SEAPAC member countries which becomes a common concern of the region has become SEAPAC’s main goal. Since its establishment in 2013, Timor Leste GOPAC National Chapter has implemented several initiatives, for examples: attending various regional and global meetings as a program of GOPAC and initiating amendments of Law on Timor Leste’s Anti-Money Laundering to meet the international standardization. In internal scope, the national chapter has established a secretariat and appointed Mrs. Nina Freitas as Executive Director. Chairman of the Indonesia GOPAC National Chapter, H.E. Dr. Pramono Anung Wibowo, welcomed the commitment of the Parliament of Timor Leste through its national chapter, and are ready to work together with the other parliamentarian colleagues of  Timor Leste to promote anti- corruption act in the region.
