Warm greetings from Jakarta !

The  House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia would like to extend its warmest greetings and would like to update several matters regarding the coming 33^rd AIPA General Assembly are as follows:

•  We now have a twitter account on @33^rd_AIPA_2012, please follow us to have updates on the coming event.
• Check on our website at www.dpr.go.id/ksap.aipa.2012 continuously, we update the program both the official and social ones, make sure that you are informed of all activities. The web will also broadcast the proceeding of the meetings live since 17 September 2012.
• For Women Parliamentarians of AIPA, who will already have a meeting in the morning of 17^th  September 2012, there will be a side event on 18 September 2012,  that  is a lunch offered by UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific,  who will introduce the mandate of the unique UN body and seek ways to collaborate with parliamentarians on fighting the violence against women through the instrument of Convention of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). The Head of Delegations will also be invited to the lunch.
•  We are still waiting for several delegations to send the composition/formation of their respective delegation in the committees.
•  We also advise all delegates to send the speech of Head of Delegations in advance so that we can help to make copies if you wish to distribute to other members.
•  We would also like to remind on the written statements of the Head of States which will become part of the Final Report.
• Finally, we are pleased to inform that the weather now in Lombok is about 25⁰ C (77⁰ F). It would make the tour on cruise to Lombok strait be in perfect weather, so don’t forget to join our cruise on Thursday, 20^th September 2012.
• Related to tour program for accompanying person on 18, 19 and 21 September please register at the latest by 15 September 2012.
