PUIC 2012

Welcoming the 7^th Session of PUIC Conference which will be held in Palembang this late January, the Secretariat General of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia is continuing the preparation of the event. PUIC (Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States) is an important inter-Parliamentary organization participated by OIC Member States. As the Chairperson of PUIC for the period of 2011-2012, Indonesia will host the next international conference. The historical values of Islam at the city of Palembang made it as an ideal venue to host the PUIC Conference, as well as to promote Indonesia, particularly the island of Sumatera as one of the world’s major tourist destinations.

Among 51 PUIC Member States, more than 32 Member States have currently confirmed their participation. With a large number of international delegations attending the event, the Secretariat General of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the local Government seek to ensure that the 8-days event will run well and secure. The upcoming PUIC Conference will be the first to be held in the Southeast Asian region and therefore will strengthen the position of the Republic of Indonesia as the world’s largest Muslim populous country.

لترحيب الدورة السابعة  لمؤتمر اتحاد مجالس الدول الأعضاء بمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي الذي سيعقد في أواخر شهر يناير 2012 في باليمبانج هذا، فإن الأمانة العامة لمجلس النواب في جمهورية اندونيسيا تؤكد تواصلها في تحضير لهذا الحدث الضخم. فالإتحاد هو منظمة برلمانية دولية هامة شاركت فيها الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي. كرئيس للاتحاد للفترة من 2011-2012 ØŒ فإندونيسيا تتعين لاستضافة هذا المؤتمر دولية المستوي. بما لها من العوامل التاريخية والقيم الإسلامية, فمدينة باليمبانج لتصبح المكان الأمثل لاستضافة هذا المؤتمر, وكذلك لتعزيز اندونيسيا، وخاصة جزيرة سومطرة واحدة من الوجهات السياحية في العالم.

من بين 51 دولة من الدول الأعضاء في الإتحاد، وقد أكدت أكثر من 32 دولة حاليا للمشاركة في هذا المؤتمر, إضاقة إلي إمكانية الحضور لعدد كبير من الوفود الدولية الأخري. ولذلك, فالأمانة العامة لمجلس النواب في جمهورية إندونيسيا وذلك بالتعاون مع الحكومة المحلية تسعى إلى ضمان هذا الحدث الذي ستستمر لمدة 8 أيام ليكون منظما وآمنا. سيكون هذا المؤتمر أول المؤتمر للاتحاد الذي سيعقد في منطقة جنوب شرق آسيا، وبالتالي سيعزز موقف جمهورية إندونيسيا بوصفها البلد الأكبر في العالم من حيث عدد السكان المسلم.
