Indonesia continues to able to bridge developing and developed countries in the presidency of the G20. Reaffirming the statement is essential to the world that Indonesia has strong commitment to building a more equitable and inclusive world.
Vice Chairperson of the House Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation (BKSAP) Achmad Hafisz Tohir released the statement at the United Nations (UN) headquarters, New York, on Friday (18/2/2022). Tohir, with the BKSAP delegation led by the Chairperson of BKSAP Fadli Zon, attended the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Session.
“As the current President of the G20 Countries, Indonesia is proud to represent the developing world, emerging economies, and island countries in this economic cooperation forum. Through our leadership, we strive to bridge the views of developed and developing countries to build a stronger and more resilient world for all.” Tohir said at the Hearing.
Furthermore, the National Mandate Party (PAN) politician asserted that Indonesia is fully open to discussions, collaboration, and cooperation with other countries to achieve an inclusive world and build healthier and equitable world governance. (mh/sf)
